Grappa Wine Information

grappa.jpg Grappa is a traditional Italian drink, which is made from the leftover seeds and skins of grapes used for wine. This is called the “Pomace” or “Pomacy”. The Pomace is fermented and distilled in its natural state. Grappa is dry and very high in alcohol, with the flavors ranging from earthy to floral. It can have highlights of juniper berries or oak as well.
